I can see why these guys won the golden bowl for Laksa. Very delicious, friendly efficient service too. Would recommend the chicken Laksa. I got it take away so the photo doesn't do it justice

Yes, the best laksa I've had. Maybe I've gone to the wrong places in Perth, but Chok's Place easily beats any I've tried there. All those golden bowl awards in a laksa land tell you something. Agree with other reviews - silky and flavoursome without being sickly thought-out. Could've eaten more. And more. The combination laksa included lots of quality variety and two plump prawns. But the curry, coconut-ty soup base was the biz. Somehow it turned the central atrium with the little fountain into Elysium.

Fantastic laksa!!! I had a veggie laksa and it was stunning. Broth was thick rich and flavourful - I asked for added fresh chilli and it was perfect. Everybody was super professional and patient. It is full lunch rush, and staff were very professional and conscious of food allergy/preferences. Can't reccomend enough! Won laksa festival award recently and definitely earned it's accolades. Edit: sorry it was soo good I only remembered to take a photo halfway through. It was hard to put the spoon down! 🥰

While visiting Darwin we read about Chok’s award winning Laksa and my wife being Asian we decided to give it a go. It did not disappoint. This Timorese recipe is one of the best Laksas I had. Although it is located in a food court and basically a take away hole in the wall and if you enjoy spicy Asian food you shouldn’t miss that one.

Very delicious laksa in The Galleria, no wonder it's won so many awards! One of my favourite laksas in Darwin so far, would definitely recommend

Chok's Place is located inside The Galleria in Darwin's Smith Street Mall. It's only open for lunch as it's a food outlet in air-conditioned food court. Please don't let that put you off. We had been advised this was a great place for a good laksa in Darwin, and we were not let down. We ordered the Chicken Laksa and absolutely loved it. It was a very generous portion and full of so much flavour. Up there with one of the best laksa's we have tasted. We enjoyed our meal in the seating area with all the CBD office workers enjoying their lunch. A great spot to stop, eat and enjoy in the cool.

We had heard all the rave reviews but only had one shot to taste Chok’s laksa for ourselves - breakfast at 9am before our flight back to Sydney. Unfortunately, opening time had changed to 10… Thankfully the look of sadness on our faces was enough to convince Chok to whip up a few laksas for us. A perfect size serving for breakfast, with a rich, flavourful soup and a sufficient hit of chilli to wake up your senses. The chicken was tender and tasty and the two types of noodle perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is just a mall, but gems are often found in rough surroundings. Thanks for a great laksa breakfast, Chok!

The absolute best Laksa I have ever had, saw them on SBS Food channel when Adam and Poh went there. So we made the trip to this place in Darwin during our lap around Australia. Do you self a favour and get a Laksa ASAP! 🤤🤤🤤 Well done guys, keep up the great food!

As a life Laksa enthusiast I’ve eaten thousands of Laksas all over Australia and Chok’s reputation is well deserved. Without a doubt one of the best in Australia - the broth if not the best. The staff are super friendly and the biggest crime here is Chok’s not having a standalone restaurant so I could get one of their award winning Laksas for dinner. You will not be disappointed!
